Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that you may have some questions about our practice, so here’s some information that will help set your mind at ease.
Do you take insurance?
This is a cash-based practice, but your physical therapist will provide you with an itemized bill with the necessary billing codes for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Will I have individual appointments with a Physical Therapist at every appointment?

Yes, you will always have a full hour session with your Physical Therapist.

Will there be a pelvic exam on the first visit?

Your physical therapist will first sit down with you and discuss your medical history and reason for your appointment.

After careful consideration of all the data collected, she will then decide if a pelvic floor exam is warranted. If at any time you do not feel comfortable, just let your therapist know, and the physical exam will stop so that you can discuss your concerns/expectations.

What is a Telehealth appointment?

Rehab for Her now offers Telehealth services. This is a virtual therapy session performed through secure video conference one-on-one between a Rehab For Her licensed practitioner and her patient.

As our practitioners cannot give hands-on, manual services over the computer, the duration of the appointment may be shortened depending on unique needs. Telehealth sessions are available in shorter session durations of 15, 30 and 45-minute increments instead of the typical 60-minute session, which may also bring costs down for the patient.

To schedule a Telehealth appointment, simply contact us.

How do I book an appointment?

To book a physical therapy appointment, simply call Rehab for Her directly at 913-634-7434. Depending on your needs, this could be an in-person appointment at our office in Overland Park, Kansas, or a tele-health visit online.
