Empathy In Treatment
In speaking with patients, Shannon is most known for her compassion, listening ear, and for helping her patients achieve their goals.
Her desire to support and empower women has been the driving force behind her career and the foundation upon which she built Rehab For Her. Shannon has personally experienced and overcome some of the conditions she helps patients with every day, having given birth to two great kids. And, as a Mom to a lovely daughter herself, Shannon holds a special place in her heart for young women and teens who are having difficulty utilizing a tampon or enduring their first pelvic exam.
Because Shannon values quality over quantity, she mindfully limits her caseload to ensure each patient receives the best, individualized care possible. Her 60- to 70-minute sessions allow for thorough, unrushed treatment, ensuring you leave feeling heard and supported.
Though Shannon has a special passion for working with pregnant and postpartum women, she finds immense joy in helping clients of all ages, from 16 to 90, on their path to healing.
Shannon is a highly skilled and experienced therapist. Her many years of experience is what really sets her apart from other pelvic floor PT's. Along with being extremely caring you can tell she has a passion for this area of work...
I was lucky to find Shannon as she is really sweet, takes her time and knows what she is doing. Highly recommend!
Shannon is amazing! I found her searching for PFPTs online. I had been going to one for awhile but didn’t really feel confident or heard for my prolapse, pain, and incontinence issues. The fact that Shannon had a prolapse herself was a big factor in choosing her. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the body! If you want to know more of why and how, in addition to receiving care and instruction, she is the expert in KC to go to. I drive over an hour just to go to her!
On top of all this, she is a wonderfully caring individual who never fails to support and uplift me.
